Are your dogs allowed everywhere in your house, or are they limited to certain rooms?

Our dogs are currently allowed in all rooms other than the bathroom, my mom's room, and my sister's room. Really, considering we have the 3 bed rooms, computer room, living room, laundry room, kitchen and dog room, it's not THAT bad, I don't find. But we're talking recently about locking them out of the kitchen and the room where their crates are. That's where the dogs are more likely to get into things, and so when one of us is home and can't watch all 5 dogs, we're thinking it'd be nice to have them kept in a safer area.

So, are your dogs allowed full roam or only certain rooms?

Everywhere but Giuseppe's room, cause that's where the litter box and cat food is, though he snuck in there yesterday and gobbled half of it up anyway

Morgan is allowed anywhere except the laundry room (where the catbox is stored). He has zero interest in going down the "scary hallway" leading to said laundry room, though, so it's no big deal.

I wouldn't really care if he were in the bathrooms, but he never does go in them. Except on bathdays he will willingly, often happily, walk into the master bathroom shower if we ask him. He's weird.

If there's a situational need to keep him out of a room we will just close the door. (Honestly, though, this is usually more to keep the cats out of stuff... like when we have a vase of flowers or something they deem edible.)

Aside from the above exceptions, he just has free roam. :)

ETA: I just read a few more posts and reminded me about the kitchen. When we're cooking, he's pretty good about keeping out of the way unless we ASK for his assistance (aka: "oops, I dropped half my macaroni on the floor... Moooorgan!"). If he ever does get too nosy during food prep, he does know the words "get out of here". :p

Mine are allowed in every room. But if I'm preparing food for myself or the dogs, they have to do sit stays or down stays in the entryway of the kitchen.

No room limits. They can go in every room whenever they please. I don't care. They behave themselves fine....they're older, settled etc.

NO, not this little home wrecker lol. He is not allowed in my room, my parent's room (unless crated or in bed with them), my brother's room, or the basement (which is two bedrooms, a laundry room, and a game room).
So he has the kitchen, living room, bathroom, and halls.
These rooms are off limits purely because he destroys/eats anything he can get his teeth on. Our bedrooms are not kept clean, plus if he goes up or down stairs he could poo without us knowing for a long while.
My room also has the litter box and cat food, far too tempting for him.

If he ever stops eating things that do not belong to him he will be allowed everywhere but my room, I don't expect him to ignore poop and cat food that is in his reach. He has been in my room with supervision before, after I cleaned up and scooped the litter box. I just had to keep blocking him from the cat's dishes.

They aren't allowed in my bathroom unless I'm there.

Um... I currently have kind of a studio apartment setup, so yeah. They're allowed everywhere? :p

Teagan is allowed everywhere in the house. She has no limits, but thats because she does not chew, does not pee on things and is very polite. Teagan is pretty much never kenneled unless she goes in her kennel herself.

Casey is allowed in everyroom except my room, my bro's room and the bathrooms. He pees on everything. So he is kenneled when we are not home or we are sleeping

Emme is only allowed in the living room, family room and kitchen. Emme is kenneled when we are away.

Taz, Fudge and Scamp are allowed to go anywhere in the house bar my mums bedroom and as long as they don't go on the bed she doesn't really care. Ozzy is allowed anywhere but my room and so is Tika although she's not really allowed in the kitchen unless someone is watching her.

Generally when we're gone Ozzy is left free, my three are locked in my room and Tika is crated. Sometimes my three are left loose and there is no damage but Fudge and Ozzy don't always get along so that only happens occasionly.

When no one's home, Missy is confined to my mom's bedroom, and Jack is crated in my bedroom.

When we're home, they're allowed everywhere except the spare bedroom, since that's where the bird cage, and the cat's food and litterbox are. We just keep a babygate up at all times (it has a hole for the cat to go through), and neither seem too terribly interested in going in there.

Technically they arn't allowed in mums room but that rule has slipped a bit since Harry's been gone.
Mac goes through stages where she isn't allowed in my room but she's never allowed on my bed.

I live in a small, 2-bedroom condo. Tiffany is allowed everywhere except the laundry room. The laundry room is small, full of stuff that she could get into (like extra toilet paper and paper towels...she'd love to shred those if she had the chance), and it'd be easy to step on her/trip over her if I'm carrying a laundry basket in that little room.

When no one's home, Tiffany is gated so that she can only get to the living room/dining area and kitchen.

Downstairs they're not allowed to go if no one is with them because my brother's idea of clean is not even close to actual clean. Otherwise they've got free run, Izzie likes to escort folks to the bathroom because she knows they'll be sitting for a bit so they can **** well spend that time petting her!

I live in two houses, the one I'm at durring the week the dogs are allowed in every room, its just one level and not that big. If I dont want the dogs in a specific room the door is closed.

The other house where I usually am on the weekends the dogs are only allowed in the living room and kitchen, they cannot go into the den or upstairs.

When no one's home here, all of our dogs are crated. Just too much risk of the dogs fighting.

My house is a big old farm house, so the rooms they're allowed in as of right now are big. Cutting them out of the rooms we're thinking of cutting them off of would be a bit of room taken from them, but that said, what's left is still quite large.
