Ronin decided to wish my parents a Happy Easter by crashing through a 1st floor window - breaking two panes of glass in the process and ending up, completely unscathed, on the front porch. Haaaappppy Easssterrrrrr.....

Fortunately my parents weren't mad (well, they were mad for about half an hour while we cleaned up) - the glass in the window is over 100 years old and very brittle - my dad apparently broke one of the adjacent windows a few weeks ago just by tapping it with his elbow. Another one was broken by an errant snowball last winter.

But the fact remains.... Ronin, for no concievable reason (other than that he was rocketing around and having fun) decided to try out his stuntman skills.

So when I say my little man is a maniac, a bull in a china shop... now you all know the full extent of my meaning. ;)

PS - today, he was a completely different dog - slept all day, chewed on bones... followed every command I gave him, etc. He's not a bad dog, or an untrained dog... he's just on crack sometimes.

:yikes:

I officially welcome you to the "Doggy Window Crashers" Club! *Gives Sizzle secret decoder ring*

It's a good thing he didn't injure himself! Crazy Ronin....he's bound and determined to give you a heart attack.

Voodoo did that to me last year while we were at work. He went through the living room window. It was quite a shock to find him waiting in the courtyard, with glass everywhere. I still don't know what his motivation was to go through it.

Ronin is no longer allowed to talk to Virgo at the meet. Windows are so far able to contain her and I'd like to keep it that way.

I'm glad he's unscathed though!!

And Django isn't allowed to talk to Virgo, so I guess we pretty have to keep ALL the dogs seperated then huh?

You got lucky Sizzle, you KNOW if it was Ilsa that she would have managed to end up with some strange owie. Maybe Ronin is trying to save you some money on his future neuter by doing it himself?

Kharma says to tell Ronin, "DUUUUUDE . . . welcome to the club!"

She's taken out three windows - four if you count the one she got twice

I will have to give her credit, though, she had ample provocation. A couple were loose cows at the farm, a trespasser, and a prowler in my backyard.

Did Ronin at least have the good grace to look surprised? :D

Yikes. I'm so glad Ronin was okay. When my aunt's rottie Slayer was staying with us -many years ago- he decided he wanted to go outside and helped himself by jumping through the window (glass and all). He was an amazing escape artist. He could find his way out my aunt's 6.5 ft. padlocked fence with concrete underneath the perimeter with no evidence of how he got out.

Actually... somehow she ended up with a cut on her foot. Don't ask. ;)

Sort of... he tried to jump back in. Luckily he knows the STOP command!

Glad he's okay. My lab, Brandy, did the same thing when she saw a squirrel outside.

Keep Ronin away from Rumor. So far all of her window breaking attempts have been unsuccessful.

Glad to hear he's okay!

Wow, that's so scary! I'm glad Ronin is okay! I think the only effect Joey would have on a window would be to make his face a bit shorter than it already is. ;)
