I took the Dobes to the park across from my house this afternoon for a run and a play. They had a good time, and Keira came home exhausted. Ripley was mildly tired, haha. He has so much energy. Keira wasn't sure what to do with herself there today -- she's not used to dogs being able to keep up with her when she's running, and now Ripley (almost) can. She still had fun though -- his speed just provided her with a bit of a challenge!

Lots more!

Gorgeous dogs!

Makes me miss my dobermans. :( Our home insurance company passed a new rule many years ago stating that they were "dangerous" and we would not be able to carry our current insurance if we got any new dobermans, so we didn't. Fantastic dogs, though.

I love that one that you like the best. Those pics defiantly show the manly size Ripley is getting compared to Keira. Hes maturing quite nicely.
Although have you guys ever wondered how dogs can manage to run, jump and in general play with their tongues hanging out and never seem to bite their tongues?

Stunning photos, as always, Devan!

I have to say, I adore this batch because I'm so used to dobes always looking regal in photos, which is also awesome, but seeing them running around, being dorky and just having a blast makes me melt into giggles. <3

Always love seeing the crew!

Gorgeous dogs! Dobes are some of the most beautiful dogs there are, and that Toller is cute as can be!

My Malinois has, but he's a special guy.

Yeah, there is definitely a lot of BSL associated with the breed unfortunately.

They're both gorgeous!

*stealsthem*
*stealsthemback* They might be a handful, but life sure would be boring without them! LOL

His proportions are a little off at the moment -- he's in a really long and lanky stage, but he's definitely quite a bit bigger than Keira already. He's about 3 inches taller than her and weighs more too. And I know! They're always running with their tongues hanging out -- I'm often amazed that they never bite them. Tango (my last dog) bit her tongue a few times while running... what a mess!

Haha, yeah, I don't know that Ripley knows how to be regal. He is the most immature, goofiest dog ever. He can look regal when he does happen to sit still (which isn't often), but deep down he's not in the slightest. Keira, OTOH, is a much more serious dog so I love watching her run around acting dorky especially. She's like a totally different dog. :)

These are amazing! I just love them all and you're making me want a dobe some day.
Sounds like a great idea to me, haha. Can't get much better than a Dobe! :D

Wow, these came out AWESOME! I still can't believe Ripley has grown up into such a lovely big boy... I still picture him in my head as a puppy with his funny ear-taping hat, LOL.
