Our last set of foster kittens had ringworm. Despite being quarantined in the bathroom and lots of hand washing...we all got it.
The vet said we could use the kids' prescription cream on Zoey (our kitten) and Gracie. Zoey started out with just a spot on her ear but now has 2 more on her body.
Gracie has one on the top of her head, one on her muzzle and one on her neck.
We now have oral medicine for them both.
Gracie I need advice for...she keeps scratching off the cream and rubbing them with her paw until they bleed. I don't want to put a cone on her (but will as a last resort) because she's never worn one before... I'm afraid she'll fly through the house with it and hurt herself.
Another suggestion was clear nail polish...but now they are open and I figure it would sting.
Any other suggestions??
