I'm sure it has been discussed on here before but I just wanted to post for those who havent heard of it. A friend of mine told me that while house training my puppy to hang a bell on the door knob of the door. She said eventually he would associate that bell with going potty. I thought it was crazy but I tell ya dogs are much smarter than we sometimes give credit.
I have had my american bull mix puppy for 3 weeks this monday. For over a week now he has been going to the door, ringing the bell and sitting politely until I come open the door for him. I am so proud of him. Anyways, for those who had never heard of this method, I just wanted to share.
