Some pictures of Riley in all his full coat fuzz; one of Buddy.

Except for two, most are from Christmas.
("Camera? What camera? Whazzat?" )

Yes (ahem), we put a Santa suit on him.

"Hey ... whazzat over there?"

Terrier laughing at the hoomans. (Not tartar on his back teeth ... they're cookie crumbs. He WILL sit still for pictures, but only if the bribery is right.)

Stepson put Santa hat on Riley. Riley's incredibly tolerant of his ears being crushed down by the hat's elastic; he didn't even try to take the hat off.

"Hey! Who took all the ornaments off the bottom?? Those were my tree toys!!" (Still tolerant of that stupid hat elastic under his chin.)

One of Buddy ... who refused to look at anything that wasn't his presents.

More recent of Riley (February). Just came in from a walk during a light snowfall. He's still wet.

Same day in February. Still wet from snow, but just got a piece of chicken. Yay!

The end. :)

He is one fluffy Westie.
Ya know it's weird .... he LOOKS fluffy (especially in the pictures where he's wet from the snow!!) but his coat FEELS hard to the touch ... except in certain parts of the furnishings on his legs and stomach. Even there it feels only slightly soft.

People are surprised when they pet him ... they expect him to feel cottony-soft, but he doesn't. We like his hard coat because it means he's never had any mats and dirt combs right out. :)

Wanna ask Riley of he will give some of his fur to Teagan??
:rofl1: Don't worry ... Teagan's still only 11 months yet. She will get to full coat soon enough. There was a time when we also wondered when Riley's would all grow in. ;)

I can steal Buddy, right?
:rofl1:

I'd say not from my cold, dead paws ... LOL.

Buddy's more open to negotiation, but he does have his terms dahlink. ;)

a.) You must be female
(getting better, but he's still a little wary around men other than stepson and stepson's Dad ... but he loves anybody female.)

b.) You must have food.
(type is of no significance; to Buddy, even ice cubes = "food")

c.) It helps to have presents.

d.) Have a large, black Kong and a jar of peanut butter and he'll follow you anywhere. :D (as long as you're female, lol)

I am female (last time I checked), can bring food, presents, and a kong with peanutbutter. I'll be there to take him in a few hours!

'bout time! :lol-sign: :)
No kidding, right? LOL ... I'm normally early with other deadines (work and such), but am officially the worst at getting pictures uploaded on time. Defy anyone to beat Christmas pictures in mid-March ...
Thank you!
aw how cute! i love the red outfit! looks awesome with the white fur! :)
Thanks, LOL. Our first foray into "dog clothes" and we didn't do so well.
His fuzz is sticking out of the velcro closure and the hat's mashing his ears.

Just checked with Buddy ... he sez one negotiation item was forgotten. Middie!! Buddy's a moose but fear reactive to other moose dogs. Biggest dog he can tolerate is a JRT. (That was his cellmate at the shelter ... a real JRT, one with the long legs.) Anything bigger than that, he sez fergitaboudit. :p
Besides, ya couldn't pry Buddy away from me. On that note ...

Pssst...ya SURE ya don't want to steal a little white terror, ummm terrier? :D

Crap. :( Stupid Middie.

No terrors, please. They're cute, but my neighbors' terriers have left me with nothing but a complete aversion to ever owning or living with a terrier of any sort.
