Awesome! What are they made of and what do they do? They look very interesting. Where did you get them or did you make them?

Very nice snow and isolation.

Very nice, BS! It looks like you could have a blast (for once, no pun intended!). And I love all the snow on the ground. Nice and picturesque.

And by the way, how is the four-legged Buckshot doing? You haven't posted much about him lately.

:) Love your gongs!!!!!!

I finally got my pistol permit and go to the range with hubby. He loves his 45 calibre 1911s by Wilson and Nighthawk. I've fired them a few times and wow what power.

The poles were discarded by a company that fills them full of explosives and sends them down well shafts to perforate the well casings. I got those for free. The rest of it was scrap iron. The gongs themselves are 4" and @ 14" steel discs 3/4" thick. I welded it all up lastnight then chipped through the frozen ground this AM to set it.

Gem, here ya go-He was going to be in the picture of the gongs but he cant differentiate between a work party and a hunting trip...he was off looking for rabbits.

I shoot at home in western colorado

I use 6.5-284, 6-284, 6remBR, 6.5X55 swede, 7STW, 375HH, 30-338 and a few others. I probably have as much fun with the .17HMR as anything.
