My neighbor just called and told us she had to put her old golden retriever, Sunny, down on Monday. Sunny was a good dog. Yeah she had some reactivity to other dogs (I think mostly because she was a spoiled only dog), but she was very sweet to people, and all the neighborhood children loved to visit her. Sunny was a lucky dog, she had a great life, and her owner even got to spend a ton of extra time with her last week since all the snow kept everyone out of work for a week. I'll miss going over to walk her though, even though I only got to walk her now and then.
