I love this series. It's probably not a good movie if I actually analyzed the character/relationship development, plot, and all that other crap, but I don't care.

It's still FRIKKING SWEET. (Who can say no to awesome laser thingies that slice through your body?)

*waits anxious for Saturday, when I can watch Extinction with my friend*

i am guilty too.... of really liking this series of movies.

the new one looks very different from the others though. i am interested to see it.

I am sooooo excited for it to come out. I will have to go on Saturday, already got a sitter planned and everything, this week has been soooo long!

cyclefiend - Hahaha. Guilty is the right word for it. The new one looks awesome (especially with her new powers and crap) but her hair is UGLY. lol

Much as I like action movies...I can't do zombies.

But I am going to suck it up and attend "I AM LEGEND" when it comes out...those are technically vamps...but still will likely give me nightmares for weeks. LOL. But I have to go...I owe it to Stephen King, who first exposed me to the story.

I actually didn't know that RE was supposed to be horror until a few days after the movie when I googled it. lol

I snuck a peek at the orignal "Dawn of The Dead" when I was far too young and at a drive in w/the parents (I was supposed to be sleeping in the back of the car)...that's all it took.

It came out in 1979...I was born in 1975.

End result?

Scarred for life.

the old school zombies arent scary. the new ones that run like hell... like in 28 days later... scary!

i dont mind a zombie i can outrun!

^What really scares me in horror movies is when those ghosts/zombies/etc. run really twitchy-ly/spazzy-ly/fast.

Or the ones that run really, really slow... Like that one movie about the doll that ran after you very, very slowly...

zombie tip i learned from house of the dead 2.... kill one zombie and the rub his blood all over you, and then the others think you are a zombie too!:lol-sign:

The Mummy always scared me like that...he moved soooo sloooow yet...in the end...he always chokes the life outta you, doesn't he?
