SHe wasn't stable enough for surgery so they said they felt she would be ready today or tomorrow. SHe has one dislocated hip and one broken leg. Worries worries...and prays.

THis is the hospital that is caring for her.History of Welborn Pet Hospital I Can not praise them enough for their support of the Humane Society of Greater KAnsas CIty. THey were there for me for Bronki. THey were there for Mary when she had her pancreatic attack and almost died. NOw they are being there for this dog. I can't express enough what a miracle that is.

SHe's a pretty big girl! Bigger than Mary. SHe must be improving or they wouldn't have said today or tomorrow right? Really worries. I wish I could hold her. THis makes me cry. I was so hoping she would be all patched up and better now.

Is a dislocated hip better than a broken bone? I would think it is, faster to heal but I don't know. Please get better. Please please please get better fast vibes needed.

I am going to try to find a pic that looks like her. I had the camera in my pocket..there was no time.

They really do sound like a wonderful facility smkie.......I am so thankful you could get her there, and even more thrilled that they are doing what they can for her.

Did they say they'd heard any news as far as someone looking for her? I hope she has frantic owners scouring the countryside for her!

WOrries what is not stable. Do you think they have to wait for swelling to go down?

Dislocation from my understanding is better than some breaks. Yes they may need for swelling to go down to put the leg back. <<<vibes>>> for her

SHe is definitely an akita. I looked at petfinder and this is the closest I could find to what she looked like. SHe was a little darker, but the face shape, size and ears are perfect along with teh strong legs and tight feet. HEr outer coat was tipped in dark, but the under was a buff...all the way to the tip of her tail which was black. She is a stunning dog.

Again..this is not her..just to show what she does closely resemble.
