Yesterday I was'nt feeling to well so I took Boozer to the park for his daily walk to relieve some stress. When we get to a wooded area I let him off of his leash to walk beside me or sniff around, he does very well. A couple and thier two children were there playing with a frisbee and one of the little boys threw it into the water. I dont know why he did this, but he jumped in to the resaca, his mom went haywire and started screaming. I didnt know what to do so we began talking to the little boy to keep him calm because he was sinking in the mud below the water. He must have thought it was like the beach stated his mum. Well before i knew it, Boozer was in there in a flash pulling the boy by his shorts. He brought him in. We play like this at the beach with him and his brother. My boyfriend likes to get them to pull him in. And well he saved the little boy I guess you can say. It was amazing, it lifted my spirits and made my day. The father said he would be back and came back with packs of jerky for Boozer. It was amazing... I'll say it again.

That was a great story. I bet he liked being a hero.
Nah, hehe, I'm not really sure if he knew he was being a hero. Well he might have, it's always a half and half thing when his dad and him play at the beach. James acts out the drowning scenerio, and the yelling for help. Boozer and Macho go go go. So yea i think you can say he knew what he was doing. He thought it was play, but at the same time i could see the different expression in his face, like if he knew this time it was for real, like the boy really needed him. You just know when your dogs are thinking something different, or what they are thinking for that matter. At least I think anyone should if they are close to their babies like I am. You know what I mean. Hehe. He did like playing with the boys and the frisbee after the ordeal.
