Hey everyone!
Its been a while since I last posted, but life has been pretty hectic.
So Midnite has been dealing with a reoccuring ear infection in her right ear for a few months now. Today she had to go back to the vet because it was getting worse. She got another ear flushing, and they did a 'bacteria culture and sensitivity test.' They put her back on 'Otomax (Tri-Otic),' and 'Zeniquin' tablets. They said that she has two types of bacteria in her ears, rods, and I can't remember the other one. I'll know more when the culture comes back.
I've decided to just attack the infection with meds again, but if it continues the vet suggested I work on her diet to see if that is the culpriate. Unfortunatley we did not see her usual vet today, and this guy did not seem to be for the raw diet that Midnite gets. He suggest I look at Hills' V/D formula (?) I don't want to put Midnite back on a kibble diet (she doesn't like kibble), and I espeically don't want to put her on Hills!
If it does come down to adjusting her diet I would really like to stick with feeding her raw, and I'm 99.9999% positive that I can. Can someone steer me in the right direction, websites, experiences, etc. Thanks!
