I seem to pop in every 6 months or so! I lurk for a while, see how everyone is doing, and then make my obligatory "IM BACK" post, before disappearing again.
Sorry
I work at an Animal Hospital now. It's a tough tough job, but I love being able to help. We had a dog come in today as an emergency, turns out she had a ruptured pyometra. It was super sad. I've seen all different kinds of illness and injury, plus the occasional happy puppy in for vaccines. it really opens your eyes to all aspects of dog ownership when you work in a place like that.
Anyway, still living with Eric and his son now lives with us 50% of the time. We talk about marriage, we talk about babies, and I have never in my life been happier. All that dating what-have-you I went through was just a self-esteem phase I think because Eric makes me feel like the most important person in the world.
The dogs are still good, Bailey gets to come to work with me sometimes and hangs out in the treatment area begging for treats lol. I've gotten her weight back down again too, so she's a happy little 8 year old beagle.
I hope everyone is doing well here, and I will try to check in more. I work till 7pm, and the kiddo is in bed by 9, so during my free time I'll try to swing by more
