Good idea Joce, i think i will give her a little time first, if she doesnt make an attempt to contact me by the weekend i think i will either call her or email her again. I want to hear something from her, whether she is planning on give the money back or not. If she says she isnt going to or she wont talk to me then i will either do the certified letter thing, or maybe the lawyer thing. I have saved all of our emails, there are alot of them, and they prove that she stated the dogs were AKC registerable, and that she was using FCI instead of FIC. i think she thought that she was just smarter than me , and that i would belive her because she is the breeder. But nope i did my research.

I know, i am sad because i was really excited to get the pup, but im glad that i foudn out about the FCI/FIC thing before i went to go get the pup, otherwise things could be worse.

Another thing, I just googled her and found out that she has bred other kinds of dogs in the past, including designer dogs, it thought she only did bordeauxs. I dont like that...

This will never happen to me again.. i dont care how long i have to wait or how much i have to pay, i am going to get one from a good breeder.

When you made the deposit did you sign a contract?
If not than legally she doesnt have much of a leg to stand on.
I would be as curtious as possible right now.
Good luck

Yup! Thats the way to go! It doesnt take much for someone to say the right things to the right people to make her breeding reputation to go down hill.
Just thought I might throw that out there.:)

Too bad for you. You did the right thing though. Do you have other breeders in mind? I hope you find a pup soon
