It isn't a scratched cornea, there is a discharge. I know all about those type of things, my daughter had something that an ulcer this past Feb. and it was BAD! For a while we were not sure if she would ever be able to see again or wear contacts again. We had to put drops in her eyes every half hour around the clock for like 3 days, then drops every hour, then 4x a day, etc. Man that was rough. She laid down in our basement (darkest place) for three days in mass pain and it took another 3 or 4 before she felt like doing things. It was scary and sad. Now she is fine and last month she was able to get daily wears.
I called the vet's office today and also talked to my doctor (I had an appt this am). He studies up on dogs health too. They both said it sounds like allergies even with a green discharge esp since it is better this morning and there is not much discharge at all. He doesn't mind me touching it, he doesn't have a fever and he is acting normal.
I still made an appt for Monday at 1pm (earliest they had) just in case. If it is even better before then I will cancel it. They said to put a warm compress on it for now and I also did that last night. This morning it already looked better and it looks even better now. Thanks for all the advice!!! If it is not any better I will let you know what the vet says on Monday.
