Rawhides/Pig Parts

Let me just start off by saying that my whole house stinks now due to one large pig ear that I purchased form the local feed store. Sam is chewing on everything so I went to the feed store and got her 3 pig ears. They were covered in thick smelly oozy blah! stuff but she loves them. I just wanted to know what you guys recommend for puppies to chew on. I have a basket full of toys and she really isn't in to them. Is that safe for her to eat or do I ration them?

There have been many reported problems with Rawhide chews and Pigs ears. How about a Kong toy, or Nylabone, or those rope chew toys? My dog loves the Booda Bimples and will chew them for hours.

Agreed. Rawhide doesn't digest well at all.
