Mine get raw eggs too. Typically they'll eat them whole. Can't say which is better though..

Oh years ago I heard somewhere? that cooking the eggs first was better for them, but that doesn;t really make much sense to me,after all Sage would rather eat them raw so that's what I'll continue doing unless their is some proof that says otherwise.

Yah,that is what I was thinking of doing..it's funny though, he'll inhale a raw egg but will reluctantly eat a hardboiled one after a few minutes.
There sure is alot of conflicting answers after researching other areas.

Raw for Caleb, too, shell and all. The first time I gave him a whole egg, he carried it into the livingroom where he proceeded to rub his face against it and play with it. In order to not have raw egg on the livingroom carpet, I kind of drop his egg into his dish so it cracks now.

Dante had way too much fun playing with his the first time :lol-sign: so if the weather is nice I give him a whole egg outside - if the weather is bad it's cracked in his bowl!!

raw for mine... he's still not sure about eating the shell though. He's not a super raw diet because I can't afford to have him on a raw diet right now since I don't have a chest freezer to buy in bulk. But occasionally he gets some raw.

I feed eggs boiled, over easy, raw a couple of times per week, plus, I homemake some of their food and there are eggs in that mixture. All have the shell included. I mash it for them to save my home.
