Hi Everyone:
I am new but am fairly well versed on dog nutrition and foods.

Anyways, for the last 2 months I have been feeding my dog (20lb terrier mix) Nature's Logic either Lamb or Venison. It's a new food that only been on the market since May of this year. It is made by the nutritionalist that created the original formulas for Nature's Variety before they changed the ingredients. Then he left and created Nature's Logic.

I have tried several other holistic foods. Most he did well on, but I never saw the results that he's had with Nature's Logic.

I've tried Eagle Pack all 4 holistic formulas. The Lamb worked the best. I've tried Solid Gold, Nature's Variety, Merrick, Nutro Ultra, Chicken Soup, Pinnacle, Canidae, Royal Canin and Sensible Choice. Most of these worked well, but I didn't know how well he could do until I tried Nature's Logic

I don't work for Nature's Logic. I'm just thrilled with the food.

1. Joey used to have cloudy eyes. There was nothing wrong with his eyesite, but in certain lights they looked as though he was forming cataracts. The cloudiness is gone now.

2. This summer he lost some muscle mass partially due to me being sick. I tried several foods this summer to help him regain his muscle mass, nothing worked until I recieved a free bag of Nature's Logic at a product show.

3. He loves the taste.

4. Oddly enough, my vet, who's a holistic vet, recently started handing out flyers about the benefits of home cooking for your dog, including no synthetic vitamins. She did this around the same time that I began feeding Nature's Logic, their philosophy is also that synthetic vitamins are unnessisary.

I posted Nature' Logic's sight. Their philosophy explains alot. http://www.natureslogic.com/products/dp_dry_lam.html

A few things that I should explain: Animal plasma is cow blood in the US and pig blood in Japan and other Asian countries. It's a cultural thing. As they are a new company they cannot afford different packaging for different countries.

Don't know if anyone else out there has looked into it. I'm thrilled with it.

jojo,
I've been feeding my cocker Natures Logic for the past month (since beginning that post with Mordy), and she's been doing fantastic. You should see her coat! We've also gotten some awesome feedback from our clients that have put their pets on it as well. :)

That's great to hear he's doing so well! That montmorillonite is some really powerful stuff and I bet it had a lot to do with his eyes clearing up.

That's what the nutritionist from NL said when I called to rave about the food.

I read the previous post about the food and actually have an answer on feeding trials. They released the food before the feeding trials were finished. They have now finished the feeding trials with great success.

About Nature's Logic testings

In response to Jojo the Pogo's comment about the studies not being completed for Nature's Logic food sorry but you are wrong. They are completed and were completed before the food came out. They have all been a huge success. Maybe you should not believe everything you read. It is, like all real things, an incredible food that any dog or cat will benefit from. If you need more info just look at the back of the bag and email the maker of the food. His personal email address is on every bag. He can answer all your questions.

Hey Jojo the pogo. Actually plasma is not the entire blood. Blood is taken but then the plasma is seperated from the blood. The blood is not used, just the plasma. And yes it is bull plasma. Plasma has been used for premature babies for the last 17 years in the USA. It began with lamb and now also human plasma is used.

Morty, besides raw, nature's logic is the best out there (in the USA) ALL other dog foods have been altered in some way. Even your vitimans and minerals you purchase over the counter have been altered syntheticly in some way.

fayeboops, what exactly makes it "the best" in your eyes?

Yes, it doesn't include synthetic vitamins, if that's something in a food you are looking for, that's nice.

To meet the needs of an individual dog, there are many other factors that have to be taken into consideration.

As I said, it's a nice food, but just like any other food out there it has its drawbacks.

Methinks Fayeboops works for Nature's Logic...

Jogo: That's great that you've found a food that works so well for you though! I have the same results with Innova.
