We havent been getting along very well.
Example. Today the battery in the car is dead. I have no way to get anywhere. He was suppose to go to the store for me this morning so I had everything I needed for my daughters birthday party here tonight. I am making lasagna.
Guess what? He didnt go and says he didnt have time. WHAT? werent you up at the wee early morning and laid around till it was time to leave. I cannot believe this crap! I hung up the phone while talking to him cause I am so mad!   Im so mad I am crying. Just another thing after another thing. His things are sooooo much more important that he doesnt have time to do things for me that he promises to.
I am tired of half started projects around the house started but not finished. I am tired of him making promises then breaking them. OR forgetting things. Oh he would forget his head if it wasnt attached.
I am tired of being so patient with him that I have run out of patience.
Guess I will just get the nieghbor (hopefully they are home) to give me a jump for my battery and go myself.
Tonight he gets the silent treatment cause I have nothing nice to say to him.

(((((HUGS)))))

I think you can buy these at either Sam's or Wal-Mart or some auto place, but they have these nifty little self-jumper kits so you don't have to hope that someone will stop and help, you can just do it yourself.

MEN...go figure. ok, that said..........ya know what you two need....a little alone time. trust me here. you have a family, they come first...life comes first...crap comes first. and now.......it's time to take a little time for yourselves. again. reconnect. you know you adore him. he just pisses you off sometimes.......hey, they all do that sometimes. lol I just bet that if you connect again.........he wouldn't forget about your car battery or any other darn thing! it all becomes so much that we forget what the heck we started. remind yourself......and make it happen. yeah...you adore him...so make things happen girlfriend! :)

I'm so sorry Mom...these types of issues are so hard to handle. I had to go through similar things when I was married to Jaime and Brandon's dad. I really feel for you!!(((((((((((((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))))))))))))

mom, I hate to stereotype... but I THINK it's a guy thing. You described my TJ exactly. He's not dependable because he forgets everything and makes endless promises that he truly sets out to keep. He starts all kinds of projects and never finishes them. I still have one corner of my crown molding in my bedroom that needs to be painted.. it's been like this for at least 4 months now.

You know you love him and can't imagine being with anyone else. I think sometimes the guys don't see the same priorities that we see. I give TJ the silent treatment too when I'm all fired up at him. But it's your daughters birthday.... maybe you could just carry on like there's nothing wrong for the sake of your daughter. Then tonight when you guys go to bed have a talk with him and let him know you're upset with him and why. Let him know how it inconvenienced you because he did not follow through on what he said.

I hope it blows over soon. They say the occasional fight is healthy for a relationship. Just don't stay mad too long.

Thanks everyone!
I will try to be as normal as possible tonight. He is usually in the bedroom hanging out during birthdays anyways.

It's happened to the best of us ! Sigh ..........that's why after almost 50 years of marriage to one who's passed on , I've decided I'd rather go on alone.
