I do parrot rescue and always have quite a flock in the house at any given time. The ones here are my own personal birds though. Yes, I live in a house with 4 hunting dogs and tons of birds LOL

it takes me about 45 minutes at night to give everyone clean water and fresh food and cover them all for the night. Course I stop to give scritches and kisses too LOL

Cleaning I use corn cob litter in the cages the birds can't reach it in the trays so I can scoop it out every day. That's about an hour or so depending on how icky the grates are and if they need scrubbed down too, then it's closer to 2 1/5 hrs.

And big cleans, doing all grates, all papers/corn cob change outs, perch scrubs, toys alternated and new ones added on weekends will take me a good 5 hours or more.

As I said that's my flock, when I have rescues in I can have anywhere from 5-8 more birds here which just adds to the time.
