It is a very sad story, but it reminded me of an incident that happened to my poor Snowy when we were on vacation in Germany -July, 2005-. My sister, Snowy and I were in an underground train station waiting for the train when suddenly a big black dog came running towards us. He attacked Snowy -for no reason!!- Snowy couldn't move or escape from that dog because he was just on top of him. My sister and I were shocked and didn't know what to do or how to apart the two dogs. Luckily, The owner of the dog was there, and was yelling at the dog calling his name -Antone- and trying to pull her dog away from Snowy. She kicked him so hard that the dog left Snowy. Then, the owner took her dog and ran away as fast as she could without even apologizing. She took the first train that arrived and disappeared. That really made me angry. The first thing that I did when Snowy was released from that mad dog is carry him and give him kisses and hugs. I checked if he was hurt or not, but luckily, he wasn't injured -just a shaky scared maltese-
That is so sad. RIP Bibo poor thing.
