rabbit Breed?

okay i have owned rabbits throughout my younger years these two are my first in a couple of years but most of my bunnies came from shelters so i knew the breed but i cant figure these ones out i have looked all over the internet nothing that even looks like them, im not much of an expert so im shouting out for help even if there are mixed i must have an idea of what they are all i know is that there brothers and ones darker than the other tomorrow i will have them out with my niece’s so better pics coming soon ( my camera just came back from the shop lol) but help me out please what breed are my rabbits?

They are Harlequin pattern. Harlequin used to only be a breed, but then they started getting the pattern into other breeds, so it doesn't necessarily mean it is a Harlequin breed but they do look like they might be. I used to breed rabbits and I had a couple pairs of Harlequins. They are around 8-10 pounds if I remember correctly.

your right they do look like this harlequin




but much lighter pattern and a bit smaller i think they are only about 5 pounds i have been just calling them torishell i know more cat and dog breeds
than say rabbits and birds even though the clinic i work at does exotics also the vet i work with only see`s cats and dogs and not many pure bred bunnies come in

Harlequins come lighter, too :). I had black and orange but also blues and lilacs. Oh, I was a bit off with the weight. I guess they are around 6.5-9 pounds. They could very well be Harlequins mixed with something else, too, because the pattern can still show up.

They look like they are possible mini rex mixes. They are most likely just mixed breeds.

What are their coats like? Are they really, really soft? (Rexes have a very distinct texture to their coats).

they are very soft just not as soft as a Velveteen

harlequin mini rex mixes? We had a mini rex and his shape/size was just like your rabbits, but he was solid red.
