Oh and there's a huge list of words I can't pronounce. The only ones coming to mind are 'hawk' and 'Rory' though right now. My friend is named Rory and I stutter and stumble over her name every single time. It always comes out as 'Roy' or close to it. xD Shouldn't be that hard should it? And hawk I pronounce the same as hock. I know there's lots and lots more. My family teases me about it.

haha, my mom cant seem to pronounce words w/ an "oi" sound. There is a store called "Hoity Toity" around here and she calls is "Hawty Tawty" hahaha. I tell her, "Mom, its " hOIty tOIty" like "tOIlet" you can say "toilet" cant you??" lol.

I can't wear a coat or even a sweatshirt when eating, either. And I guess most of the time I like my thermostat on even temps or fives. But I'm not nearly as nuts as most of you.

-I am soo bothered if I can hear other people chewing/swalling. It grosses me out to the max. lol
-I can't start watching a TV show once it's already started. Even if it's just five minutes into the program, I'd much rather sit and stare at the turned off TV. lol

I cannot just watch a horror movie. I have to cover my face w/ a blanket or my hands and peek through on scary scenes. I do not see how people can just sit there and watch! lol.

I can't watch scary movies either. And if I do, they have to be early in the day!!! So I can forget about the movie before bedtime. But even early, I stilll usually end up not finishing the movie. I just don't enjoy scary movies... disturbing dreams are no fun at night

Cant stand banana's unless they just turned from green to yellow.

I HATE the feel of dishes after they come out of the dishwasher.. I cant touch them at all.

I have to leave a room if ther is styrofoam around.. Or cotton balls..

Theres alot of materials I cant stand to touch. Gives me the creeps.

I have to brush my teeth like 4 72384978274892 times a day.

Thats just a few.. Im a weird person.

I have to get comfortable before I eat.. I can sepand ten minutes preparing myself to sit down and eat.

I was JUST going to post that one.

I HATE having balloons around. The mylar ones don't bother me but the rubbery ones. OMG I can't STAND to see a child playing with them because I'm just SURE it's going to explode... and of course hannah LOVES balloons lol.

But this one isn't too wierd because I know why I'm afraid of them lol

Here're some more squirks I just thought of after readings all yours

- I can't stand things touching my neck.. so no choker necklace & no turtleneck clothing for me.

- I LOVE the weight of the blankets, too - but they cannot cover my head or my feet! So, no matter how cold the night is, my barefeet are sticking out

- I cannot whistle - no matter how hard I learned.

- I cannot carry a right tune to save my life

- I have no sense of direction. I must got lost 998487683823495 x 1000 times since I began driving!

Know what hit me as funny?

I realized, today, that I have what a lot of people consider a really strange quirk . . . Most places I go I take a very large, red dog with me. But here, that's not considered quirky at all! :rofl1:

Oh my god, me too. I won't go anywhere with out my GPS. I didn't have one the first 5 months after getting my license. I got lost SO MANY TIMES. My sense of direction is awful! Even know I get lost with my GPS.

When I eat sandwiches I have to eat all the edges and leave the center for last... burgerrs too although this is often EXTREMELY messy lol.

I eat my pizza backwards too.

Honestly, after reading alot of your guys' stuff...I realize that I'm not all that quirky, haha. There are things I prefer, but I'm really not all that bothered if I can't do them.

on the food topic...

I really like to try everyone's food at a restaurant. It takes a LOT of restraint for me not to ask ppl to try their food when its someone that its just not appropriate to ask. It can be a freaking boring chicken breast, but I still want to taste!

I get really unhappy/nauseous if people talk about food and I'm not hungry. I mean, it's not all the time as long as I'm not starving or anything, but if I just ate a meal or whatever and someone starts talking about food I'll try so hard to change the subject asap.
