Quick update

My visit on Saturday with Brandon went really well!!!!!!!!!!! The staff there were all so nice. I spent about 5 hours there all together.

I spent Saturday night at my brothers house, he lives in Vancouver, Washington which is right across the Columbia River from Portland, Oregon. I met Jaime early Sunday morning and we went to the Oregon coast for two nights. We had an excellent time together....lot's of fun, and I was able to relax a little bit!!!

Each day that passes, Brandon seems so much more positive. He looked so good that day I saw him....like his old self. I get to go spend two hours with him tomorrow for Thanksgiving, then will see him again on Saturday. Yayyy!!! I really miss him so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were starting to worry about you because we hadn't gotten an update and knew that you had gone to visit. I'm glad that you had a good visit and he is accepting the help. I'm also glad that you got some down time to relax -- you deserve it.

I just got back from a visit, and he's doing well still. It was hard on my today to have him away from home. It was also hard to see all of the kids in there on a holiday!!!!! There is a 13 year old boy in there who has been in there for over 100 days!!! He has no where to go right now...they're looking for placement. His Mom doesn't want him with her. Sad!!

So true Grammy...I think Brandon realizes that things could be much worse for him!!

That boy really tugged at my heart strings...poor poor kids!!! Some don't even have a fair chance in life!! Bless that child.
