Quick help please!

I'm supposed to have three subtopics for an essay ready, and I can't think of any. The topic is Pit Bulls, and I'm thinking that one subtopic will be history, another BSL? And I don't know about the other.

Also a thesis...

Yes, I'm procrastinating... I think the thesis will have something to do with, convincing the public that they aren't people killers, but that they still aren't the breed for everyone.

What they are in the right hands, maybe? A look at all the jobs they do, SAR, therapy, assisting law enforcement, etc.?

Or the roles they have played in the armed forces, honors and decorations received . . .

Oh thats a good idea. Something like, examples of well bred Pit bulls.

I have another question, should I call them APBT's the entire essay? Or is okay if I explain that a 'pitt bull' isn't a breed, and then call them Pit bulls?

I'd go with APBT or "pit bull type". You are trying to educate

ETA Sorry I'm an inattentive reader, I didn't realize that you only needed three topics.

I would do a section on "what is a pit bull?" to differentiate between the American Pit Bull Terrier and the many, many breeds (and mixes!) that people confuse with them, and then within the APBT identify the byb lines, gamebred lines, "bully" lines, etc.

Depending on the length of the essay and the information you have, you might want to divide history up into pre-america, then in america up until the ban of dogfighting, then recent history.

Its kind of annoying, because I did a ton of research, and then I figured out that it was only 1000, 1250 words long. Well, that is the minimum but still, I was having fun!

Maybe I will do a topic on what you suggest Xandra, because that is more interesting. I need more room!
