I know that this question has probably been answered over and over again, but when I did a search for it I ended up with 11 pages of threads... and not enough time to read every one. So I'll ask again, and hope that you will all be patient with me. :D

I've been thinking about adding a little something "extra" to Tusker's diet lately. Not like an everyday sort of addition, but maybe a couple times a week. I remember reading something about eggs/vegetables/meat, but I did have some questions.

Eggs: do you feed these raw or cooked? Do you just put these in their regular food?

Vegetables: Any suggestions on these? I've tried carrots, but Tusker's not particularly a fan of those.

Meat: Raw or cooked? Or is it a personal preference?

Thanks for ya'll's help, I really appreciate it. :)

Raw is best. Sure, just crack them over their food. If you have free range eggs, you can feed the shell as well :)

Veggies are an option. If your dog doesn't like them, it's not a huge deal. You could try different mushes - dogs often love pumpkin, sweet potatoe and green beans. :)

Raw, IMO, is better for dogs but if you prefer not to feed raw, as lightly cooked as you can handle is good. There's more nutrient loss the more it's cooked. :)

Another good supplement is a human grade fish BODY oil such as Grizzly Salmon :)

I fed Hannah raw eggs and I mixed them with her kibble and she liked that. Also fed her plain yogurt and cottage cheese as well and she found those quite good. Hannah doesn't like vegetables either so I can't help you with that. As for the raw or cooked meat it's really a personal preference I think. Hannah loves raw oxtail and the raw beef soup bones but she can not eat anything else raw. She can eat plain boiled chicken and turkey and she likes that stuff too.
