If you look at the two girls, this is what I see:
Gloria has a rounder, tighter, shorter (from top to bottom) face. She has a very wide underjaw which is what pugs should have. Her lips are tight. Her eyes are set wide on her face and you want the top of the nose between the two eyes up as far as possible as if the nose divides the eyes. You want a soft expression.
Eleanor is adorable. She is full of wrinkle and bone and a crystal clear, light coat. At glance, she looks better...but when you look further you see that she has a longer face. She has more droop to her lips and her eyes are set closer together and further up on her face.
If I were to draw a shape around each puppy's face, Gloria would get a circle, and Eleanor a rectangle. You want a CIRCLE!
I have not gotten stacked photos yet, but wish I could. (Hubby's arm is in a sling) The differences in these two girls are extreme when it comes to body conformation and Gloria has Eleanor beat by a mile.
With that said, I still can't say
for sure who I am keeping, yet.
