Puppy!!!

Well, I got a call from the breeder. 9 little Golden boys were born and she has chosen one for me. It is a gift to BF and he is very excited. The only thing is if his house is not ready on time we are going to surrender the pup to the waiting list. We want to do this right. It would not be fair on the pup to have him come to us and be in a building site. I have told the breeder this and she agrees completely. So we will let her know in 2 weeks if we are taking him.

Both parents are finnished champs and compete in field work. We are attending a trial this weekend to watch the breeders young male compete. I really hope we can take him! Hold thumbs for us.

Think they are Golden Retreivers - and quite possibly the cutest breed in the world as puppies!! Congrats can't wait to see pics if you get him

Yip, Golden Retriever. I really want to do what is right by the little guy, so if that means having to wait until another great breeder has a litter then we will. I just really hope the building is done by November.

Anxious to see pictures !!! You know how I feel about Goldens !! Elder daughter ( RudyNNash ) is looking into a litter that will come in October ! She's also looking into rescue , but wants all health checks on the parents. This is a show line and the Dad looks like a Meadow Pond Champion ... has it in his line ( Bubba had it in his line ) ...She's asking for pictures of the Dam .

I will post pics as soon as I get them. The breeder wants a definate answer from us before she will let us come into contact with the pups. She has however offered us to come and see the parents and to check her credentails (which I have done and they are good). So if we get the little guy you will be bombarded with pics soon enough!

Now all I need are names. We are thinking along the lines of Jasper, Jack, Jake or Cash. In all the excitement I forgot to find out the kennel name, so I think his registered name will be Kennel name - Golden Boy insert one of the above names. You get it?? LOL!

Personally I like Cash. So say his kennel name is eg Mayfields it would be Mayfields Golden Boy Cash. But it is up to BF, it is his dog after all.
