Puppy turning to adult -- Innova vs Innova Puppy

I want to swtich my 11mo. old Cav. King Charles to adult food. He is currently eating Innova Puppy. I was going to switch him to Innova Adult. Comparing ingrediants and percentages, the adult food is very similar to the puppy food.

What is the difference between adult and puppy food? I know puppy food is meant for growth. What is adult food for?

adult food is formulated for the requiremets of adult dogs, with different levels of nutrients. the regular innova adult is also an "all lifestages" food tho, meaning you can feed it to puppies as well, so the differences are not quite as big.

i'd suggest switching to the adult food tho.

I was thinking of going to EVO but when I tried the EVO for him as a puppy he had runny stools for a couple weeks so I put him on the Innova Puppy.
