Uh...

It doesn't seem like a major thing, but I wanted to check here.

Gordy (81/2months) threw up part of his breakfast (weetbix) three days ago.

Two days ago he threw up, I have no idea what, he just came around from my brother's 10 mins earlier.

And today, my brother took him for a walk, and said he was dry-reaching when at the park. (about 50mins after dinner)

I am taking him to the vet for a microchip in a couple of days, and will add this to my list of questions, but is this anything I should be concerned about? Because apart from this he appears to be fine; he still runs around, tail wagging, playing like normal.

Just wait for your vet visit, they should be able to help you out. :)

Herschel sometimes throws up if we wait too long to feed him in the morning (if he wakes up at 8 and we don't feed him until 12).

^^Interesting.

I think I am inflicted with a bit of paranoia as well since reeading all these stories/articles on bloat and other things.

Which reminds me, mum was just talking about it today. When Gordy was 4 months approx, I had him with me for the day, then dropped him at my brothers. Got a call later that day asking why he is 'fat'. Well I didn't feed him that day, apart from a few pieces of kibble for food rewards. When I dropped him off he was normal. I thought he was exaggerating/joking.

Mum told me that he was really big around the waste. That my brother called his friend's mum, who is a vet. She said that it should be fine, just keep an eye on him, and if it's still there in the morning to take him to the vet.

Well, if I had read about bloat back then I would have freaked. But by the morning he was back to normal.

Well, apart from throwing up he doesn't appear to have any thing wrong. Still eats normal, and I can't think of anything out of the ordinary that he is fed. Well... mum has been changing his dinner, just adding a couple of different things into the mix. Used to be pumpkin/peas/carrot, but now she will add some potato or something else. Will mention this to the vet. Do you think that could have something to do with it?

Oh :O I will.

I am seeing a vet tomorrow. I will ask him. I wonder if they do tests for this type of thing. I will let mum know about changes to the diet and get a list of what she has cooked with his veggies to take to the vet.

Eeek. Thanks Herschel for your responses :)
