Wow. I was looking up dog carriers last night, and my fiancee saw this open on my computer screen. I was just staring at it in disbelief. He then said "If you are considering getting that, I am moving out."

Edit* I think this is RIDICULOUS and would not buy it. Really? But I just thought it was funny enough to share.

The Original PuppyPurse Pet Carrier System: Home Page

Who thinks this is ridiculous vs. who would buy? I am curious!

I think it's ridiculously tacky and I would never use one! :yikes:

I had a Juicy carrier that I received as a gift when Rylie was a puppy... I've used it a couple of times, but I still don't like to do it!

I love the Vintage Bitch carriers and if I were to get a carrier I'd probably go with one of those... they're very discreet:

I'm pretty sure most of her sales are custom orders.

Is that not the most silly thing you've ever seen?

Thanks for the link for the carriers though! THEY ARE CUTE! I sent her a message requesting a custom. We will see.

The only thing funnier than the purse is the models. One looks way too happy.

I hope a dog pees on its owner when in one of those!

I don't really care if people want to carry their dogs around in little purses,or pink fluffy things (as long as the dog is happy and not literally being dragged around in a bag all day instead of walked) but those THINGS look crazy and really uncomfortable for the dog! They don't even look good!

Okay, that made me do a spit-take. I don't have anything against purses, but that thing isn't even a purse! It looks like the dog is in traction or something.

I actually saw an older man at the fair last fall carrying a tiny yorkie on each arm each in a rainbow colored one of those. It was HILARIOUS. The dogs where pretty chill about it though. They sold them at the store I worked at for a short while but we never sold any, thank God lol.

Those Vintage Bitch ones are beautiful!

Every time I see the name "Vintage Bitch" I think of my dad's mother . . . :rofl1:
I think of my fiances grandmother! She is exactly that.. but it would say Vintage BBIIITTCCCHHH if they were referring to her ;)

Hehe.

I actually didnt go with any of these bags. I bough at cheaper simple sling at first to make sure he likes it before I spent 60.00 on something that won't work out.

We shall see.

When I first read the title of this thread, I pictured a puppy *wearing* a purse. ROFL. Which I actually made Sienna do last week when we went for a walk and I didn't have any pockets for my house key or the poop bag. So I though, why not put a pocket on the dog, LOL. I tied some twine on a little change pouch and she wore it around her neck. :D

I do not want to ever turn one of my dogs into a purse- but I do want to eventually have a yorkie that I can carry in a purse;) Makes it easier to take into a store and not have people making grabby hands.

My poor byron would love to fit in a purse but that would hurt my poor back!

To be fair I made Lilly something similar (just no where as fancy) because she can no longer manage our LONG walks but still loves to come with us.
