Give him the yogurt like we talked about. You can also try giving him small amounts of cooked, white meat chicken that?s been torn or cut up into little pieces (so he won?t gobble). No rice; the rice can actually make the diarrhea worse. Do feed him small amounts more often. If it runs straight through him, go back to just the yogurt for a feeding or two.

Most dogs like things that taste sweet, so try him on some vanilla yogurt. Strawberry-banana is also a good one (if it?s not just artificially flavored) because the extra potassium will be good for him to try and avoid too much dehydration. You could even mash up some banana and/or strawberry in the vanilla yogurt.

Not too much water. Just about a half a cup at a time, no more. If he drinks too much water it will just run through him and make the situation worse. You can even give him some Pedialyte, the drink for babies with diarrhea to help keep him from getting dehydrated.

Little bits of apple, cut up making certain there are no seeds, can help stop the diarhhea. The pectin in the apple is a good binder. If he doesn?t like the apple, cut it up into little pieces and mix it in with the chicken.

Keep us posted on how he does. If it doesn?t slow down in a day, let us know.

By the way, did your vet check for any bacterial cultures or do any blood tests?

You might try some canned pumpkin (regular 100% pumpkin, NOT pie filling!) Pumpkin is suppose to do wonders at "firming" the stuff! :D Though I hear some dogs don't like pumpkin, and others love it. You can always try adding the pumpkin to the yogurt for a tasty treat... hmmm that even sounds good to me, lol! :)
