yes, but how long do puppies usually hold their pee/poo in because im gone for 4 hours, come home for lunch and its a mess, and than i leave again.

Charlie is alone in his crate for 3 1/2 - 4 hours in the morning, my grandpa comes to take him out in the middle of the day, and he is in his crate another 3 3/4 hours until I get home.
He's never had an accident in his crate. Is it small enough for your puppy?

I'm not sure how long they can hold it, but they will hold it as long as they can when confined in crate because they so not like to soil their sleeping areas. That's why crate training is the most effective method. Or, you could block off a small area in the house. If you give the puppy the whole house, or a room to itself, there will definatly be a big mess, lol. Is there someone that can stay will the puppy and take it out to use the bathroom while your gone?

buddy's parents thanks for the names but I think its a little too "manly or big" for my puppy.
mybostonterrier- you can try crate training, just leave ur pups in the crate until you get home, take them out before you put them in. And remember dont make a big fuss about your leaving or else they will get anxious and poop in their crate

It's a club, it stands for "head, heart, hands, and health" lol.

Here is the 4-H pledge:

(Gosh I hate saying that, lol)

We meet every Monday night, there are thousands of these clubs, and they do everything from horseback riding to gun clubs, to sewing and cooking, or all of them combined!

I am in a purely dog club. We do basic obedience, showmanship, agility, therapy work etc.
