I am glad to see that Smudge is home safetly. Sorry it was a nightmare.

I agree with Sizzle. Both Smudge and Cider will adjust. I have met the same Cockers as Sizzle plus a few more and they all seem like they could handle any situation given the right amount of time.

Good luck with him. Keep us posted on how he does.

I am glad he is home.Is a fine looking dog!!!!!!! I would be terrified to ship either of my dogs. IT sounds all too risky.

Holy Crap! What a nightmare :( ((((((hugs))))))

Have you told the breeder about this? If not, I would.

But....OMG....he is the most adorable thing! Cocker puppies are sooo cute! :D

How horrible! That's so irritating, I can't believe that happened to you and Smudge!

I'm glad he is safe and sound with you at home. I'm sure Cider will adjust after a little bit... I'm looking forward to pics and stories of Smudge's (and Cider's!) antics! She may just be giving him a littler 'cockertude' for a little while, until she thinks he's learned who's boss  :p

(((((((((hugs)))))))) to you and smudge... hehe

I'm so glad you got him, especially after all that!! Wow, I would be writing up a storm and sending it to every dog thing I could think of. If I ever have to fly a puppy, I'm going out to get it and bring it home in person.

I'm also glad to hear that Cockers are normally happy and quick to recover...we have so many cockers here at work that are the exact opposite, though that's all thanks to pet stores and BYB's. Nervous, shy, quick to bite...puts me off the whole breed really. But I'm willing to change!

Too lazy to switch accounts.. *Mafia at Dekka's*

Breeder was on the phone off and on with me through the nightmare she knows what happened, was still up when we drove home, wanted updates.

He's so different from Cider.. He's so merry (way they should be) I've never met one quite like this, but I've never gone to a show either yet.. it's been all people's pets..

He's so bouncy.. checks in all the time. I love him.. Working on pics got a few of Dekka's youngest jrt and him playing. Going to have to wait for a pic load till monday though till I get home.

Cider's still angry with him, but not drooling obsessively..

OMG, Continental sounds like a NIGHTMARE!!! Thanks for letting us know how crappy they are, I'm definitely making a mental note to NEVER EVER use them.

I'm glad Smudge arrived safely--he's a doll! :D

Breeder may sell his smaller littermate she kept back. She's decided between the two which was turning out to be a better conformation prospect need a puppy brattina? lol
