We have a 5 month year old cocker spaniel. I would like know what type of games are appropriate for a puppy of this age.
We play fetch with him. And he is very good at retrieving the object. When we throw it, he brings it back most of the time. BUT, I have also found that when we do this, he gets very excited. This leads to him jumping up and nipping at our hands, either trying to get the object being thrown or looking for treats. And I have found that he stays in that excited state for a while after we have stopped playing.
Is it too early to play such games with him?
