Isn't it the worst when you know you have to wait? lol I hate it.
Ya the waiting part really sucks! But... it is what it is and I need to be smart about it which sucks sometimes lol.

Josh wants a dog of his own too, but I'm really really set on getting a border collie puppy in about a year or so... I told him that I'm willing for us to have three dogs once we're in a house as long as he knows that if he gets one then HE needs to be the one to do a lot of the training with his dog... I just don't want to get stuck with three dogs and be completely responsible for all of them you know? Bamm is honestly doing so much better with dogs now, but mainly with females. He has gotten along with a couple males though. Once he knows the dog he is totally fine. I take him over to my friend Leah's house all the time for play dates. They have 4 dogs and he gets along fine with all of them.

I know he'd be fine if I got a puppy... I'm not worried about that at all. I just want to just have him for a little bit so I can just really focus on his training more without having another dog to worry about.

I'm set on getting another border collie. I don't know what Josh wants. I know he really has a heart for APBTs, but I don't know what he's going to end up wanting to get... we have plenty of time to figure that out.

I'm just glad I have a baby kitteh to cuddle with right now, or I'd be going CRAZY.

I don't want Chloe to be a puppy again...that was a nightmare. I'm jumping with joy now that she has finally matured and seems to have a little bit more sense on her shoulders!

But Rose, on the other hand...I was too young to remember her as a pup, so I'd take her back again!

And I just can't stop looking:

And no, this thread is not helping...at all. LOL

I have puppy fever BAD! Ahhh. Maybe I was just lucky but Jackson was never a difficult puppy. I mean, alot of work, yeah. All puppies are ;) but not bad. He was a lot of fun!

'Nawwww... my wittle boy. Who looks 100% different now, hahaha.

Now he's all growned up,

I've been looking at different breeders, petfinder, etc and doing alot of researching, etc. I'm really trying to be responsible and not get another dog/puppy until I'm living on my own, out of my parents house. Which will hopefully be early next year. Ahhh!

I've got the bug, too. Unfortunately, I don't know what kind of puppy I want!

I'm leaning towards a GSD, but my husband isn't a huge fan. I'm not sure if he matters, though. He's a cat person, and has very little to do with the dogs anyway. The dog will be MINE. My issues with GSDs are size. I'm not sure I really want a dog that big!

I also look fondly at BSDs, of course. Perhaps I could get a fuzzy one next time! I REALLY love the Groens!

I also really like ACDs, Aussies, and BCs. My husband's cousin has a lovely little PWC that really got the wheels in my head turning. My husband even seemed to like her a little. LOL

It's YEARS off, anyway. I figure after Grant is gone and Harry is old, provided live long lives.
