And you can't make a child or a dog into something they are not.

Did you know there are studies that show that there are no such thing as 'shy' children? It is only after they are told they are shy that they become shy. I wonder if it's the same for dogs? :D
Ok, I agree with you there. I didn't mean that in that way. I simply meant that you can't ignore the fact that they act shy. And that you can't be too soft on them. They are approached differently, but not flooded.
