Okay Reggin, I grabbed Logan. He is not terribly impressed, but he will pretty much do what ever I want him to do, so he will indulge me and stand still.

Logan is a 5 year old intact male Rottweiler.
weight 137lbs.
height at shoulder 26.75in
head circumference 26.25in
muzzle from tip to stop 3.75in.
skull from stop to occipital 8.5in
circumference at base of muzzle 14in
circumference of neck 30in
width of chest from elbow to elbow 11.5in
circumference of rib cage 39.25in

This is my favorite picture of him. He is about 2 years old in this picture.

Gosh, such a big ol boy. 30 inch neck :yikes:. I like the wrinkles on his forehead and his dark markings. So purdy.

Gunnar's neck is bigger than his head too, and Bruzers are both the same size. I don't think it's that unusual. Even Daisy's neck is only a little bit smaller than her head.

Hey, theres nothing better than a nice size head on a GSD ;) :D

true, true!! We're glad the rest of him caught up to the size of his head (and ears! :rofl1:

(we had my female, Kona, first, so were used to her delicate/dainty features)

He had a LOT of hair, so that neck measure was approximate, he had a double coat, a brindle Pit coat underneath, and a Golden Retriever on top. Shedding was horrible every spring and fall. Enough to make a couple of big pillows, and make him look as if he lost a lot of weight suddenly.

A regular collar just popped off if he backed out of it, so anytime he walked or went out, he wore a harness. I sure wish King would walk like Gus did. King does have some huge positives over Gus though, the best one is not being scared of almost everything. Gus was scared of everything but the vacuum cleaner, King is terrified of the vac.

When I was a kid, we had an immensely large female GSD who ran around the neighborhood. She was very friendly to most people, except a few that she knocked off bikes. She had a giant head and ears, and anytime she saw me, she would come over and plop that head on my knee, and "talk" to me, until I rubbed her head, right between her eyes. She is still the biggest GSD I have ever seen. A lot of my friends were terrified of her, especially after seeing those huge teeth.
