Puke during sleep!

Wow.

Yoshi puked during his sleep this evening.

He wasn't feeling well, then was better. His stools were soft, but now are almost back to normal consistency, but he barfs a lot.

What need I do ?

I would say vet, as soon as possible. If he is not feeling well and not taking in fluids then he can become dehydrated. When Lilly had gastro when I picked her up at the shelter the vet gave her a shot for nausea so that she could take fluids.

The vet told us he just has an upset stomach. Gave shots, new food for after the no-food period.

She also said it might be why our neighbour's dog, Tommy was barking at Yoshi yesterday. He kept barking. He never did that before.

Now Yoshi is sleepy. side effect of the meds.

Oh dear. I am sorry he is still sick. When last did he eat? Is he vomiting bile? Does he have a tempreature? Is the vomiting violent? What colour are his gums?

Sorry for all the questions, just helps to know.

we're giving him veterinarian food for gastro intestinal disorders... it's basically rice, chicken....
he feels a bit better today.
