There was a bag of Pedigree food left down where Virgo could get to it. She pulled it over and spilled some out.

And left it.

There is still a mostly full bag of Pedigree.

She wouldn't eat it.

Virgo, the Walking Hoover-Dog, voluntarily left food alone.

That right there should tell you just how bad of a food Pedigree really is!

I'm still in shock. Virgo. Wouldn't. Eat. It.

It's still been put up out of her reach though, I'm not chancing the horrible gastro-results should she decide to try it again.

Doom wouldn't eat it when my mom tried to give it to him, but there are a lot of things he won't eat. LoL

Wow. That's some horrid stuff if Virgo wouldn't eat it. Hmmm....have you considered sprinkling a few handfuls of Pedigree on your counters and in your cabinets? Maybe that would deter her from scavenging.

Daisy would eat Pedigree and most things remotely edible. If Daisy came across an open bag of Pedigree, she would gorge herself on it, and then puke it up around the house later.

popper eats toy stuffing, rocks, wood, coins and anything else that has even a good chance of fitting in his mouth. I'm pretty sure he'd eat pedigree (but we'll never find out ;)).

Oh well.

Guess that means they wouldn't consider using Virgo in one of their stomach-churningly emotional advertisements? ;)

LOL! Virgo might be a walking hoover, but she's no dummy. ; )

I bought little bags of cruddy dog food a few years ago for a research project. For fun, I tried to get Gonzo to try some of them, and he refused Pedigree, Dog Chow, and Iams. Even when I told him to "take it", and he picks up ANYTHING on that command! He just looked at me with sad eyes. I was proud.

I think the ultimate taste test would be Fozzie... he will happily eat every food I've ever offered him. But, I cannot bring myself to support any of those companies just to try it out.

Oh well.

Guess that means they wouldn't consider using Virgo in one of their stomach-churningly emotional advertisements? ;)
LMAO! We should make an anti-Pedigree commercial, with all of our dogs' sad faces, staring at bowls of Pedigree, with Sarah McLachlan playing... and the caption "WTF? You expect me to EAT this? I would prefer garbage, pls."

The Pekingese that came to my house was eating those Beneful wet food bowl things, with pasta and everything in them (not anymore, obviously.). I tried to let Archie eat some off the spoon, he wouldn't touch the stuff!! The other day, he turned down a Beggin' Strip!

This is my previously food aggressive, eat anything as fast as we can, attack everybody so nobody else gets anything, take your hand off when eating a treat, Old Man! I've spoiled him with high quality food and snacks :D

lol, poor Max ate pedigree his whole life and about 4 months before he died we switched him to Natural Balance. A week after the full switch I decided to use the Pedigree as a training treat and he completely rejected it!
