My Vet is $36 for a basic visit. The Vet dermatolgist charged $100 for the first visit without any tests and $45 for any follow ups. Considering Vets have as much training as an MD, I think it is a pretty good deal....

$39.75 for a wellness exam or office visit with a minor problem. $45 for an exam with a significant time-intensive problem.

pretty average for the area.

35 just to walk in the door, 42 if they come together.

My vet is the priciest one in town but I love them and so do my pups. :) They're never scared to go to the vet! :)

our vet charges $36., and I think that's very reasonable for a check-up visit. his shot prices are good, too. he's a good vet...a bit on the gruff side, but as long as he is good to the dogs.................whatever, it's not like I want to marry him. LOL

To tell you the truth, we've never been to the vet just for a general check up. Everytime we go, they either need a rabies shot, or need some meds in some way. So its just the price of the shot, or meds. Most visits are between $20-$30. Since we're frequent customers, they dont charge us the $30 office visit.

$45 to walk in the door. We don't pay that if the dogs are having anything else besides vaccinations done, though.

our vet is $48 for the initial exam ($24 for a breif exam) and they give me a multi-dog discount of $24 for each additional dog, so we try and get vacination apts for the same day. it usually costs about $150 for the 2 chis yearly exam and booster shots, nail clip is usually free...

Yearly for a good vet I'd say it's average . I'm sure your heart worm checks and pills , plus flea preventives are included in this .

I have no idea, but I think it's under $30? It wouldn't matter anyway...that is how much I love the vets I go to. :)

If one is in for their annual check-up with vaccinations, fecal check, & heartworm check, then we do not charge an exam fee. All of the above is done for $60 for an intact dog & $55 for an altered dog (the difference is in the price of the rabies tag).

If I recall correctly, our exam fees range from $10 (for a recheck) to $20 (for an indepth exam). However, that doesn't include any procedures that might be done during that time.

However, we don't charge an exam fee when any routine vaccine is given (i.e. 7in1, 8in1, Rabies, Bordatella) nor do we charge an exam fee for nail trims or anal gland expression.
