If you could spare a good thought or short prayer for Brian tomorrow and in the coming weeks....

He's about to undergo a full hip replacement on his left side tomorrow at 39 years of age.

I have to have him at the hospital for 5:30 AM and his surgery is at 7:30 am. He'll be in the hospital for a couple days (he'll come home either Thursday or Friday) and he'll be under heavy restriction and have daily therapy for a while.

he's explored every avenue to take care of his hip problems and nothing has worked. His hip is extremely arthritic and the cartilage is gone so it's necessary but still nerve wracking.

thanks everyone.

This is what we have heard about just about everyone that's had a hip replacement. Logically, we understand that but then you always think the worst lol. But it will be good... it will change his life. He's already so restricted in his movements because of his limited range of motion and the discomfort.

Sending lots of vibes and good thoughts for a non-eventful surgery and a totally boring (but speedy) recovery!

Many prayers and vibes for a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. I bet he is going to have the two best nurses for his home care in the whole wide world, he will be in good hands. Throwing in some (((HUGS))) for worries because I know you will.
