For about the past 4 days, my son has been having anxiety/panic attacks to the point where he hyperventilates and eventually passes out. When he comes to it starts all over again. It's been the most terrifying thing that I have ever witnessed. I've had him in and out of the ER....tried to find a counselor to help him. He's been telling me that he's dying!!!! I looks at me with the most desparate look...and I've been helpless!!!!! Yesterday, I had to actually call the police to help me. I had taken him to the ER and the Dr kept fixating on the fact that he might be having withdrawals from drugs. They did a UA and it was positive for Marijuana. I'm not sure what's going on with him right now. All I can tell you is that it's awful!!!!
When the policeman came, he talked Brandon into talking to someone from an agency called Center For Living. He went to the appt, but they really aren't able to help him. They only have one counselor who can see him, and not until next Tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:yikes: It's because we have "private insurance" and are not on state assistance!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got him into see a Dr yesterday in the late afternoon and he prescribed him some Xanax to get him through the next couple of days. When he was at the appt, he was much calmer, but by the time it got dark, they started in again!!!! I called a Pastor friend who I know who had also come to the ER to help yesterday morning, and he called a guy he knows who experienced some of the same things, and he came over at midnight to talk to him. He left about 2:30 and Brandon was a little better.
Brandon finally fell asleep about 4:30 this morning and is still sleeping.
Please send us lot's of Chaz prayers and good vibes. I pray that he will be better after some much needed sleep.
I'm sorry this email is all over the place. I'm just so thoroughly exhausted.
