Actually I did not know this person but he was a dear friend of my step sister and her husband. Every year the boys would go "Jeeping". A big group of them would get together and go up north for like a week or something.
Tragedy struck this time around
They were all sitting around drinking one night after they got back to the cabin and Dave (the friend) decided on a drunken whim to jump in the water. He struck his head and Shawn (my bil) jumped in to save him. he was rushed to the hospital where things were not looking good.
he has since passed away. He had a wife and three children I believe. My BIL is really messed up over this. he hasn't been able to sleep or function at all.
this family (both his family and my sisters family) need prayers for strength to help them cope. Such an awful tragedy.
