First is it excited I'm happy to see you or I'm excited and want to eat you.
If your dog is just excited teach the NIFIL policy. Someone posted a site on this training...perhaps they will post again. This training teaches your dog a default behavior instead of unacceptable behavior like jumping up. Have friends help you and each time she goes to jump on your friend (have her on lead) have your friend cross their arms stand like a tree. Next have your dog sit, and as soon as your dog sits have your friend treat and scratch belly. It takes time to teach an overly excited dog to learn to sit for attention...but, well worth it.
If you do a google search there is all kinds of info on how to train this. Better still, join an obedience class where there is a professional instructor and distractions...very good athmosphere to train.
