Thanks! :D

We ended up moving it to the other side of the solarium, because we put our huge new desk on that side. So it looks a little different now, lol.

Your trees look great!! We didn't get a tree this year. Instead we opted for a more manageable rosemary bush that is like a miniature Christmas tree. Unfortunately, I was not blessed with a green thumb..... It's a sad day when your tree dies before Christmas. ;)

Eddie, your tree is beautiful and huge!! Awesome.
Yeah, we really lucked out this year. Ended up buying this one from the local boy scout troop. Only 20 bucks and massive. You should have seen it before I cut enough branches off to fit into the stand.

Thanks for the kind words!!

Jessie and Eddie, your trees look MARVELOUS!

Ok, here is ours. It's a fake tree and on the small side (it says 6ft but it just seems so small)

Kevin puts on the lights, the kids put on the ornaments.........I put the hooks on the ornaments and hand them out and the kids put them all on the tree, then I put the angel at the top :) We do it like that every year........don't know how or why it got started.

You don't see trees like that down here :(
Don't they even import from North Carolina or something? I know some places even around here get them from NC. Lots of places advertise "locally grown" as well.

This tree is a PA-grown Douglass Fir. The tree farm is in the Pocono mountains. The scouts get a great deal on them every year and in turn make great deals for the community. Beginning the last week in the year, we put them on the curb and they come around with a chipper and recycle them into mulch and such.

I bought a Douglass Fir, too! I love it. It's softer than the other ones they sell at the grocery stores here. I bought it at Home Depot.
