as an aside.. I had never heard it referred to as crimbo before this year.

((hugs)) it will pass.. I find sites like I can has a cheezeburger, and this will buff out of immense help in such times.

What does that mean? Whatever it is, if it's depression.....(((((((((HUGS))))))))) Hopefully, you'll pull yourself out of it soon.

Oh-h-h-h-h.....yeah, that one can really get to a lot of people. In recent years, I've decided that I refused to let something that's suppose to be a happy time cause me stress or depression. So, I cut down on my work load, for one thing. And stopped putting so much value on buying or receiving presents and put more emphasis on the regular things to be thankful for....and most of all, being with loved ones during that time. And food. LOL. We have so much fun cooking up a storm and being grateful to have good food. Also, doing things for other, less fortunate is a nice feeling. It doesn't mean you have to have a lot of money necessarily to cheer up someone else.

Why would someone get depressed after Christmas? I'd get depressed before, with all the stuff that need be done.

Plus there's still New Years.

Tons of stress, realizing the year is coming to an end, realizing things didn't turn out the way you were hoping, or they turned out like you feared they might...just plain ol' seasonal depression combined with this expectation that you're SUPPOSED to be happy and cheery, blah blah blah, and you're not, which makes it worse.

Personally, I hate Christmas. It always throws me out of whack and I get very pissy and depressed and having to be around family just makes it worse. This time of year is one I just want to hibernate through anyway, it's too dark, it's cold and there's still months of the same ahead.

(((Hugs)))

I'm just hoping I can get back to my regular hours soon. I work as a data conversion operator for USPS, as a supposed part-time job, and I've had to work 8+ hour days on top of my other almost-full time job at the clinic and school. I really, really would like to sleep soon.

Yep, this year has sucked big time!
I don't have a job as of Jan, don't know what I am going to do.
My cousins were here for a week and having all the fun I had with them suddenly removed sucks.
Everyone just left my place after crimbo lunch and I was reminded how starkely alone I truely am. It just seems that I can't catch a break.
