Denver, CO is where I'm currently hanging out.

There are still random bits of old country tucked into the growing suburbia. Denver has this weird mix of new urban and old country going on, which I kind of like.

There's still a lot of the original architecture around, though not as much as there was before the the "Great Downtown Remodeling Spree" started.

There's a ton of nature stuff and hiking and all that crap that Colorado is famous for just about an hour's drive anywhere and you can get to basically anywhere in the state in around 4 hours, depending on weather, roads and traffic.
