Possible Mucus or not???

My vet told me anywhere from 600 to 700. I thought that was very high. So I'm hoping for her to go this weekend. I keep telling her but she's not listening to me Yes, we have had no signs. ONly she sleeps alot and yesterday and today the stringy discharge. What is that exactly and what does that mean???

For the record, I just read through this whole thread *smiles* An acquaitance of mine had 7 babies from her chi bitch *choke* she was slightly oversized to. Her chi was a pet store pup and a BYB breeding to a male chi pup also bought from the pet store as well. I think they weighed close to 8 - 10 lbs ( mom and dad that is ). I hope your girl is okay and the babies. If you have to do a C-section will they spay her to at the same time for you to save some money? Or are you planning on breeding her again? Thanks! Zoey is 5lbs, well mostly 6lbs, (cuz she LOVES to eat). But I don't concider her oversized? No I am not spaying her.

The discharge is just a normal part of this pregnancy.

The stringy slimy stuff is her mucus plug. It can come out very slowly for a few days. It doesnt just pop out like the cork in a wine bottle lol. Not saying that that is what you thought. Try not to worry so much. I know its hard not too but.... Congrats on the 4 pups, I was close when I said 5....I still think there is one little sneaker hiding in there ...even though thats pretty hard to do in an xray.

Update

Saturday Day 65-

Temp last night at 6:15pm was 100.2 This morning at 8: 11am it was 98.4

Could this finally be the drop? 5 days ago it dropped to 98.6 in the morning and still nothing.

I'm afraid to get excited.

I must add these sure are 4 lively pups! She's laying on my lap (which she won't leave) and they are just rolling around on my legs! The xray was awesome to see them.
