So our foster Kees Ari (who we got yesterday) might have a chance to stay with us after all 
Today my dad completely came around. Well maybe not completely, but he's accepting Ari and even calls him over to be pet.
My dad's two brothers and sister have two dogs each, he's the only one who only has one dog. His brother stopped in today to pick something up, and basically flat out asked if he was keeping him. I think my dad ignored him, lol. Then his brother must have called his sister in Arizona, because she called later this afternoon to talk to him.
My mom went to talk to him privately, and when she came downstairs to give my brother and I the report, she was smiling. Basically my dad was still angry, but in the midst of the anger, he's like, "Why does he have to be so effing cute!" Except he didn't say effing if you know what I mean. Apparently he really likes him. Then he said that we have to take him to our vet to get him examined for any health issues, just to be safe. We have an appointment next Tuesday. Thats his disguised way of almost giving us the ok. At least we think, I'm not trying to get my hopes up.
You don't even know how thrilled we are right now, soo different from last night. Ari's behavior is pretty much the same, except he is petrified of the basement, which leads me to think he may have been a product of a BYB or similar situation. He's even fallen into a bathroom routine which is perfect.
